Roger Baines, from Broom has been elected as the new councillor for the Houghton, Haynes, Southill and Old Warden ward.
With 55.2% of the vote, Roger achieved a famous victory in what was once a safe Tory stronghold. Labour managed just 3.3%, and the Tories shrunk to 41.5%.
In his victory speech, Roger acclaimed the hard work his team had put into the election, and declared that it was a privilege to have been elected to work hard for the local community.
